End cap stainless steel/brass
What function do stainless steel end caps serve?
Open handrail ends on stairs pose a safety risk. Precisely fitting stainless steel end caps seal these sharp edges flush and effectively protect against injuries.
As a functional and visual finish, these end caps are ideal for our solid wood handrails. They complete any railing and handrail with clean, professional lines.
Please note: Our stainless steel end caps are not suitable for stainless steel handrails!

Your advantages with our range
- High fitting accuracy: Precise adjustment to the exact diameter of the handrails for a seamless fit.
- Rustproof material quality: Made of solid V2A stainless steel, making it extremely durable and weather-resistant for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Easy cleaning: The closed, non-porous surface of a stainless steel end cap is hygienic and absolutely easy to maintain.
Installing stainless steel end caps for handrails and railings made easy
The installation of the stainless steel end caps requires neither a welding machine nor special professional tools.
- Beveled / Straight / Half-round: Screw the adapter to your handrail and glue the end caps to the adapter.
- Flat: Lightly sand the edge of your handrail. Apply some glue into the end caps and carefully tap the end caps onto the handrail end using a rubber mallet.
- Polished: Drill the supplied screw into the center of the handrail end. Apply some glue to the end cap and then screw it onto the screw. Temporarily stabilize the end cap on the handrail with some tape so the glue can take full effect.
Important note on disassembly: It is essential to insert every stainless steel railing end cap as the very last installation step. Once tapped in and glued, the caps sit extremely tightly on the handrails. They can hardly be corrected non-destructively afterward.

Frequently Asked Questions about Stainless Steel End Caps (FAQ)
Questions frequently arise during the detailed planning of handrails and railings. We have clearly summarized the most important facts for you here.
How can end caps be removed again?
Once professionally installed, caps are designed for a permanent, firm hold. They can usually only be removed with a great deal of effort by prying them out (e.g., with a screwdriver) or by generously sawing them off. The cap is almost always irreparably damaged during this process. Therefore, always set the caps as the final installation step.
How do I maintain stainless steel end caps indoors and outdoors?
Indoors, a soft, damp cloth is completely sufficient for cleaning. Outdoors, weather-related deposits are best removed with a mild cleaner or special stainless steel care spray. Always avoid abrasive sponges and aggressive cleaning agents to keep the high-quality surface permanently scratch-free.
