Handrail Ash

Ash is a very robust, elastic, and abrasion-resistant hardwood, ideal for heavily used handrails. Visually, it stands out with its decorative, striped, or clouded grain, giving every handrail a lively character. This makes an ash handrail look both high-quality and natural.

Ash handrails are available in several profile shapes, for example, round, oval, square, square with rounded edges, or as an Omega profile. Round fits particularly comfortably in the hand, Omega looks modern and clear, while square and oval offer a timeless look with good grip. This allows you to choose the shape to match the stairs and interior style.

You can get ash handrails in lengths up to 450 cm, often custom-cut. You can order them as a single handrail or as a set, depending on how much accessories you need directly. This allows short wall sections to be implemented just as cleanly as long flights of stairs.

Raw is ideal if you want to color or treat the handrail yourself. Oiled emphasizes the grain, feels natural, and offers good protection indoors. Lacquered is particularly easy to clean and is well-suited for heavily frequented stairwells.

A soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient for cleaning; aggressive or abrasive cleaners should be avoided. Oiled handrails can be re-oiled if necessary to maintain protection and color tone. Lacquered variants usually only need regular wiping and stay beautiful for a long time.
